Admission Requirements
Enrollment is offered during the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms.
Admission as a classified graduate student in the Master of Arts in Counseling program requires:
- A baccalaureate degree
- A grade point average of at least 3.0. (Will consider admitting individuals on provisional status who do not meet the GPA requirement.)
- Completion of the University Graduate application ($25 one-time, non-refundable application fee)
- Written statement of educational goals demonstrating what motivates you to become a counselor and what you hope to contribute to the counseling profession
- Copies of transcripts (from all universities and colleges attended)
- Professional letters of recommendation (2 required)
- Relevant work experience via a Resume/CV
Application Deadlines:
- Spring Semester: October 31st
- Summer and Fall Semester: April 15th
Applications are accepted after the deadline, subject to enrollment availability.
Applicants will be notified of the decision approximately one month after the deadline.
